World Rat Day Event April 2 in San Mateo

topic posted Tue, February 14, 2006 - 5:10 PM by  Alexandra
Rattie Ratz: Rescue, Resources and Referral, announces its Second Annual Family Fun Fest on Sunday, April 2, dedicated to promoting domestic pet rats as companion animals. This event is FREE and open to all.

Come and learn about keeping domestic pet rats and get introduced to all the local resources you need to stay informed and keep your pet rats happy and healthy. The event will feature adoptable domestic pet rats, representatives from many local rat organizations, the sale of supplies to keep your pet rat happy and healthy, and activities for families including crafts and games.

There will be rats available for adoption at the event, so for the health and safety of your own furry companions, please leave them at home. You can tell them all about it - and even share your goodie bag - when you get home!

The Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA will open their doors
to host the Wonderful World of Rats!
Free goodie bags to the first 100 people through the door!
Doorprizes throughout the event!
